This is the first design project studying in PolyU which is footwear design.

I designed a collection about egypt style and done the prototype with real leather.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the egypt collection concept sketch.

Following the features of egypt which are:

Stone by stone

Column

Decorative pattern

Snakes 

Pharaoh

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I choose one design to do the final prototype.

In this design, this mean phoenix because this is the famous bird in egypt. The outsole part refer to the mouth of phoenix and the part of using "vegetable tanned leather" means body of phoenix.

As well as the feather pattern which is using real leather to do, it means the wings of phoenix.
